The pace of play was incredibly fast at the start of the day and plenty of bustouts happened in the first two levels. Philipp Gruissem, part of the partypoker Pro team, busted early in the day and so did others like David Peters, Ryan Riess, Markus Durnegger, Manig Loeser and Kevin Rabichow. Markus Grewe (20,450,000), Kenny Hallaert (18,050,000), Thomas Boivin (15,825,000), Charlie Carrel (14,375,000) and Vojtech Ruzicka (14,325,000) all bagged impressive stacks and are looking to make an impact on Day 3 of the tournament.
Bertrand Grospellier is the only partypoker Pro who made it to Day 3 through the live route. The Frenchman bagged 2,955,000 and will start Day 3 near the bottom of the counts. Two other partypoker Pros managed to sneak in Day 3 but without setting a foot in the King's Resort in Rozvadov. Roberto Romanello (9,200,000) and Dzmitry Urbanovich (6,650,000) got through online with decent stacks.
Others recognizable names who made it through on the virtual felt include Anton Morgenstern (8,000,000), Romain Lewis (6,050,000), Matas Cimbolas (3,300,000) and Dara O'Kearney (2,975,000). They'll be joining their live counterparts for Day 3 and a combined field of 72 Level 18 (125,000/250,000/250,000).
